Valley Mission is seeking a full-time Assistant Executive Director. Responsibilities include supervising the daily operation of the Valley Mission as directed by the Executive Director in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors. The Assistant Executive Director provides professional leadership in all facets of the Mission’s activities including administration, staff management/training, financial management, non-profit management best practices, and strategic planning. Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a human services, accounting, management, business, or related field with five years of experience in a professional work environment. At least two years bookkeeping experience, including, but not limited to, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions are required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities and will be proficient in computer software related to publishing, presentations, graphs/charts, accounting software such as QuickBooks, donor databases, and Excel. The ideal candidate must be dependable, positive, enthusiastic about helping others, trustworthy, reliable, professional, and organized.
