2025 Volunteer Management & Engagement: Module 4 – Intake & Onboarding
Volunteers play critical roles in nonprofit organizations. Are you looking to boost your nonprofit’s capacity with volunteers? This 6-part Volunteer Engagement and Management training includes sessions on establishing the framework, planning, recruiting, onboarding, supporting, and evaluating. Register for any and all that interest you.
In Module 4, Intake & Onboarding on January 19th from 1pm-4pm, you’ll learn how to create systems to screen, place, orient and train volunteers, including techniques for interviewing and matching volunteers with positions, designing effective volunteer orientation, and assessing and meeting volunteer training needs.
Objectives
Acquire tools to get the volunteers you need in the door:
- Examine trends in volunteerism and how they might inform opportunities and outreach.
- Develop position descriptions with a Volunteer Experience Lens.
- Explore targeted recruitment concepts and consider potential audiences.
- Develop an Outreach Strategy.
