Fundraising Coordinator:

Desired skills, perspectives, experiences, and characteristics of new board members

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Managing Fundraising Events:
Coordinators plan, organize, and execute LNE fundraising events, ensuring they are successful and meet their fundraising targets.
Cultivating Donor Relationships:
Building and maintaining relationships with existing donors and identifying and attracting new donors through various means, including personal outreach and communication.

Grant Proposal Writing:
Our Fundraising Coordinators will work in tandem with our LNE Grants Coordinator to draft and submit grant proposals to foundations and other funding sources to secure financial support for the organization. Note that our LNE Grants Coordinator will lead this intiative of applying for grants. Fundraising Coordinator will serve as additional support to the Grants Coordinator, but maintain a focus on fundraising.

Donor Database Management:
They maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records, track contributions, and generate reports on donor activity.
Compliance and Reporting:
In conjunction with the LNE Chair and Operations, ensure that all fundraising activities are compliant with relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
Collaborating with Other Departments:
Work with the LNE Email Marketing and Communications person to promote fundraising initiatives and with the LNE finance department to ensure accurate recording of donations.

Event Coordination:
In conjunction with the LNE Support Coordinator, coordinate volunteers, vendors, and other resources to ensure the smooth execution of fundraising events.
Creating Fundraising Materials:
Designing and producing promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and social media content, to raise awareness of the organization’s work and needs.
Tracking and Evaluating Results:
Regularly monitoring and evaluating the success of fundraising campaigns to identify areas for improvement and ensure maximum impact.
Developing and Implementing Fundraising Strategies:
Identify potential donors, setting fundraising goals, and developing strategies to achieve those goals, such as creating event plans or grant proposals.
