Desired skills, perspectives, experiences, and characteristics of new board members

Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary is seeking volunteers to serve as board members to help us grow and expand our thriving organization. If you are passionate about native VA wildlife, would like to raise public awareness with regard to our wild neighbors, and help increase donations to animals in need, we invite you to join us.
We are currently looking to add to our board membership and diversify our skill sets to include members who have experience in finance and or accounting, as well as, organizational development. Bonus points will be awarded to those with experience in fundraising, corporate sponsorship, and event planning.
We are a small working board that is dedicated to supporting and expanding our exemplary staff. Send us your questions, resume, letters of interest, etc. at info@rockfishwildlifesanctuary.org. We can’t wait to meet you!
