Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. Two central goals to CNE’s Board Academy are 1) to create a pathway to board service for community members who may not have otherwise considered this an option and 2) to address issues of inequity by a) providing existing and prospective board members with relevant knowledge and skills and b) increasing the confidence of participants from underrepresented groups to be active and engaged board members.

We gather demographic information to 1) to attain an accurate representation of the make-up of each cohort, 2) to ensure as much as possible that we are creating a welcoming space for all participants in which they can learn and thrive, and 3) to track our efforts in diversifying board membership in the communities we serve.

All submissions are anonymous. We will use generalized data to report to the CNE staff, board, donors, and community members.
