The Mediation Center of Charlottesville (MCC) is a small non-profit with the mission of providing affordable and accessible dispute resolution services through mediation and education, with a goal of enabling clients and the greater community to transform conflict into an opportunity for growth and change. Board members oversee the work of the Executive Director, providing checks and balances, financial oversight, guidance regarding personnel, and serving as thought partners for new initiatives and organizational change. We are looking for individuals who are interested in mediation and alternative dispute resolution, and who are ready to commit to helping us continue to grow.

Annual Time Commitment (including committee meetings, special events, work outside the board, etc.)

18 hours–Twelve meetings (1 hour each), and another 6 hours of work outside the board.
