Tim Plant

For more than 25 years, Tim has enjoyed helping donors achieve their philanthropic goals by ensuring a deep connection to the work they support. As the founder of Pachira Strategies, he provides strategic planning and high-level support to organizations and executives related to revenue generation, stakeholder engagement, board relations, capital campaigns, and staff development. Since launching his consulting practice, Tim has engaged with numerous national and local organizations, including the Shockoe Institute, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, Monticello, Service Dogs of Virginia, and Communities In Schools of Northern Virginia.

Before starting his company, Tim worked at Communities In Schools, a national organization that empowers students to stay in school and achieve in life, for nearly a decade, ultimately serving as Vice President of Advancement. Tim earned a BA in English from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and his MBA from Western Governors University.
