Description

African American Teaching Fellows (AATF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and developing current and aspiring educators to serve in local schools. Our Fellows, all enrolled in licensure programs, receive financial assistance, community support, and professional development as they progress toward becoming licensed teachers. We provide mentoring, networking opportunities, and connections to the Charlottesville-Albemarle community. In return, Fellows commit to teaching in local schools, where they continue to receive professional development and guidance throughout their teaching careers.

The Program Manager is a key organizational role responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of year-round programming for our organization. This role involves collaborating with community partners, managing event logistics, and ensuring the smooth operation of our program, specifically those supporting our Fellows. The Program Manager will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the Program Advisory Committee and community partners.
