The Senior Accountant for Grants and Special Revenues in the City’s Finance Department performs under limited supervision with a high degree of independence, engages in the performance, analysis, reporting, and review of highly complex, diversified accounting tasks for the City or a large City department; and performs related work as required. Positions within the Accountant III class has City-wide responsibility for a complex accounting function.

The preferred hiring range for this position is between $68,307.20 – $85,571.20 Annually. Starting offer is based on applicable education, experience, and internal equity. Minimum Qualifications:
– Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from an accredited college or university. (If no bachelor’s degree, minimally two years of undergraduate coursework with two years of highly related experience may be considered equivalent.)
– Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience.
– Extensive experience working within an enterprise resource planning (ERP), database, or similar accounting system required.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with SAP preferred.
