In the heart of rural central Virginia, Little Learners Tricounty has emerged as a beacon of hope and opportunity for families seeking quality childcare. Founded in 2013 by a passionate group of community leaders, our journey began with a mission to bridge the gap in affordable early childhood education. Today, we proudly serve Scottsville and its surrounding counties with a holistic approach that nurtures every child’s developmental, social, physical, and spiritual growth.

From securing our nonprofit status to establishing strategic partnerships with Albemarle County School Board and local organizations like Club Yancey, our commitment to excellence has only strengthened. Our expansion to include five classrooms and adoption of the innovative STREAMin3 curriculum are testaments to our dedication to educational excellence.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking visionary individuals who are invested in the Scottsville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, and Buckingham areas to join our Board of Directors. Your expertise and passion will help steer our mission forward, ensuring every child in our community receives the best start in life regardless of background. If you’re driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact and have experience in governance, early childhood education, community outreach, or nonprofit leadership, we want to hear from you!
