Description

The Grants Coordinator will be a highly skilled professional responsible for managing the internal and external grants processes; researching, writing, and submitting external grant proposals; collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to identify funding opportunities that align with the strategic priorities of Augusta Health; monitoring the life cycle of awarded grants; monitoring key performance indicators; submitting timely reports to funders and other stakeholders; working with internal stakeholders to improve the internal grants award, tracking and reporting process. Position has a Hybrid work schedule.
Education Required

Bachelors degree in English, Communication, nonprofit management or related field required.

Licensure/Certification

Certified Grant Professional (GPC) or Certified Proposal Writer (CPW) preferred.

Experience

3-5 years experience as grant writer, monitor, evaluator and or performance reporter required
Successful track record of securing six+ figure grants and working with stakeholders to submit timely reports required
Understanding of social determinants/factors affecting health and wellbeing preferred

Job Duties

Grant Research (5%)
• Conduct prospect research.
• Identify potential grant opportunities that closely align with the mission and strategic priorities of Augusta Health.
• Monitor funding organizations’ websites for appropriate grant opportunities.
• Establish relationships with former, current, and prospective grant makers.

Grant Writing (30%)
• Communicate with relevant stakeholders all available potential grants, grant requirements and confirm the ability to fulfill performance requirements.
• Collaborate to receive accurate data, develop project/program budgets and other information needed for compelling narratives and proposal development.
• Consistently meet application submission deadlines.
Grant Administration (60%)
• Manage internal granting process, ensuring timely use and reporting of funds.
• Track the life cycle of all external grant awards, ensuring appropriate monitoring and evaluation, reporting and timeline for resubmission.
• Monitor all recurring grants, collaborate with grant recipients to submit timely progress updates, amendments, and final reports to funders.
• Ensure performance metrics and other reporting requirements are met.

Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices in the non-profit sector.
