Description
We seek a caring, organized, and energetic Assistant Manager to help lead and support our daily operation. At Twice is Nice, a donation-based 501(c)(3) resale thrift shop, we believe in the power of community. We strengthen the Charlottesville community, promote sustainability, and enrich the lives of local seniors through the sale of affordable clothing, housewares and furniture. The Twice is Nice team works together to make a difference in our community by fulfilling our mission to support seniors in need while promoting sustainability.
The Assistant Manager is an integral part of our daily operations, ensuring that staff and volunteers work together seamlessly to serve the community. You will support our Operations Manager, work closely with our dedicated volunteers, and help ensure the efficient and welcoming ways of our organization. This is a primarily on-site role with minimal after-hours work and offers an exciting opportunity for growth in nonprofit leadership. Some Saturday hours required.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Passion for community service and strong alignment with Twice Is Nice’s mission.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, spreadsheets, scheduling software, MailChimp, Squarespace.
- Prior experience coordinating volunteers or nonprofit work is a plus.
Work Schedule
40 hours per week in store. Schedule will vary due to rotating Saturday hours
