Director of Annual Giving

Description

This exciting new position is primarily responsible for finding and acquiring sources of contributed revenue from individual donors. The Director of Annual Giving will assist with setting related fundraising goals and will be responsible for creating and managing the strategies and systems to meet or exceed those goals. The Director of Annual Giving will manage the Member Services Coordinator and Development Assistant

Responsibilities include: oversight of all of WNRN’s fundraising activities including membership, bi-annual fund drives, end of year solicitations, and specialty show campaigns; Identification, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift donors using existing Salesforce database; Develop strategies and systems for planned giving and other non-traditional sources of fundraising; Maintaining relationships of key stakeholders including donors, grantors, Board and Community Advisory Council.

Skills Required

Qualifications – Five years in a similar fundraising position, experience managing staff and donor programs, membership experience a plus; Must be personable, enjoy socializing with donors and prospects, have excellent writing skills, and thrive in a collaborative mission-based organization. Must appreciate great music, enjoy the experience of local events, and embrace the culture of community.

Additional Info
