VA ITSN Infant Toddler Behavior Consultation (ITBC) Consultant – Fulltime, 40 Hours per week

Responsible for the following job duties:

  • Work with stakeholders, infant and toddler caregivers/teachers, directors, and families to increase their use of strategies and practices to promote the social and emotional development of infants and toddlers and address challenging behaviors.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in infant and toddler or early childhood education, child development, human services, social work or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of direct service which includes the following:
    • At least one year of direct work with infants and toddlers
    • A minimum of one year of experience working with adults (e.g. training, mentoring, or leading caregivers/teachers)
    • 25-40 hours of previously delivered training experience.
    • Early intervention background preferred.
  • Able to travel throughout the region, including overnight travel as needed.

Initial and ongoing training provided.
