• Job is remote.
• Exception: In-person assistance at Spring and Fall Conventions in Virginia may be required.
• Central Virginia residents preferred for proximity to office headquarters outside of Charlottesville. Will consider candidates in other areas of the state with relevant experience.
The Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association (Unified VCA) is seeking a reliable, conscientious, ethical, organized, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and personable individual to provide database, administrative and member servicing assistance. Additional hours may be required twice a year, when preparing for Spring and Fall conventions.
Job involves a variety of database, customer service and admin tasks. Tasks will be shared with an existing P-T employee working primarily on alternate days. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• process new memberships and membership renewals,
• process meeting registrations,
• run membership and meeting reports from database,
• help answer phones (shared with other team members),
• handle or triage member questions,
• call members for updated credit card or contact information,
• provide support to other team members and leadership,
• assist with registration and on-site staffing at 2-3 conventions/seminars in VA per year,
• project management,
• other duties as assigned.
Optional potential to increase hours and responsibility if desired and a good fit — but not mandatory.
Opportunities to expand role to help with marketing, communications, social media, website, and other areas available based on experience and interest.

Skills Required
Required:
o Experience with databases.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred but not required:
o Experience in the association environment.
o Familiarity with association management systems.
o Zoom, OneDrive, Adobe InDesign, Canva, website management, and/or seminar coordination.
o Learning Management Systems (LMS).
o Some college.
Although the position is part-time, it requires a “full-time mentality” in terms of commitment and reliability, superb attention to detail and accuracy; a high level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; a passion for customer service and helping others; ability to work independently; and dependability. Work Schedule
Type: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week via a combination of 4.25- and 8-hour weekday segments.
