This is an up to 0.75FTE FLSA non-exempt PRN position or 0.75FTE benefited position. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Mental Health and Wellness Coalition’s workforce resilience training with key partners in our community. The Prevention Specialist will provide administrative support for training and communications related to workforce resilience training for Community Mental Health and Wellness Coalition partners, including healthcare, behavioral health, first responder, and other organizations.
The position reports to the Community Mental Health and Wellness Coalition Director, and works both independently and with community partners. This grant is funded through a HRSA Healthcare Workforce Resilience Training grant to the University of Virginia, ending in December 2024.
Job Duties
- Familiarizes self with workforce resilience strategies.
- Develops subject matter expertise as Wisdom and Wellbeing Peer Support training.
- Interacts with community partners as an official representative of the Community Mental Health and Wellness Coalition related to workforce resilience training services.
- Maintains a customer service oriented and teamwork focused environment with the goal of helping internal and external stakeholders participate in Wisdom and Wellbeing Workforce Resilience training.
- Helps to coordinate interagency meetings with Community Mental Health and Wellness Coalition partners in health and public safety sectors for the purpose of workforce resilience training.
- Coordinates basic data entry tasks to register training participants in on-line training portal.
- Assists the Coalition Director with all administrative work, subcontract activities, report and other documentation to meet all requirements of grant sub-award.
- Provides administrative and planning support for Wisdom and Wellbeing Peer Support training for both virtual and in-kind events including registration, Zoom management, venue coordination/scheduling, room set up and preparing course materials and other supplies.
- Works with Coalition Director and other subject matter experts as a co-trainer to deliver Wisdom and Wellbeing Peer Support training.
- Develops high quality workforce resilience marketing materials and catalogs and disseminates these as needed to community partners.
- Reads all agency and Coalition communication (i.e. Staff Notes, E-mail, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned by the Coalition Director.
