About the Role
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and mission-driven leader to serve as our Director of Operations (Chief of Staff).
This is a key leadership role that partners closely with the Rector to ensure that vision and ministry priorities are translated into clear plans and executed effectively across the organization. You will help align people, systems, and strategy so our clergy and ministry leaders can focus on what matters most—spiritual leadership and community impact.

Job Duties
What You’ll Do
• Translate leadership vision into actionable plans and ensure follow-through
• Partner closely with the Rector as a trusted advisor and strategic integrator
• Lead staff coordination and strengthen alignment across ministries and operations
• Improve organizational systems, communication, and decision-making processes
• Foster a healthy, accountable, and collaborative staff culture
• Support cross-functional ministry initiatives (formation, community engagement, communications, parish life)
• Partner with finance leadership on budgeting and planning alignment

Work Schedule
Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday
