Counselor and Program Services Coordinator – Full time, 40 Hours per week
Responsible for the following job duties:
• Responsible for providing clinical assessment and intensive, specialized mental health treatment to child and adolescent victims of abuse and neglect and exposure to domestic violence.
• Provide counseling to family members of victims, as needed, to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment of the child/adolescent victim.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to at-risk youth and their families.
• Receive referrals for counseling program, communicate with individuals and professionals who make referrals, and manage and co-lead groups for clients and families.
Successful candidates will have:
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• State licensure or license-eligibility in designated field.
• Minimum of two years experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Knowledge of treatment needs of abused and neglected children.
• Knowledge of theory and practice in the area of child and adolescent development and age-appropriate intervention strategies.
• Willingness to communicate with clients, families, and community partners.
Compensation/Benefits:
• Salary: starting at $53,290
