Broadcasting since 1996, WNRN is an independent music public radio network with 12 stations throughout the commonwealth, including Richmond, Hampton Roads, Roanoke, Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Harrisonburg, and more—and streaming worldwide through our website and apps.
WNRN connects and inspires listeners in our broadcast area through music and community messages.

The Client Underwriting Assistant and Office Coordinator serves in a full-time capacity executing essential areas of the Underwriting Sales Department and handling critical duties of office administration. They will report to the Manager of Underwriting Accounts and the Accounting Manager. This position is located in Charlottesville.

Job Duties

Client contact via phone and email to assist in writing and timing weekly schedule copy to air on the radio, editing other copy and tracking.
Maintain communications with onboarding clients to ensure new clients start in a timely manner and conversations move forward.
Manage creative and implementation of digital campaigns through Analytic Owl with underwriting sales associates and Development Director.
Update website for new and expired clients. Serve as a backup for billing review.
Manage purchases and maintenance of office supplies and equipment
Monitor and appropriately respond or forward all incoming emails and voicemails from general information lines.
Assist with company-wide events and organize conference registrations and travel arrangements.
Liaise with building maintenance manager or external service vendors to resolve office issues. Responsible for security systems including offsite and internal key system
Manage and maintain communication and security systems, equipment, and vehicles.

Skills Required

Courteous, detail oriented, organized self starter to take this new position and flourish.
Must be comfortable initiating communication via phone and email.
Must be able to both adhere to regulations as well as think creatively depending on the task at hand.
General office experience required whether professional, volunteer or intern capacity
Customer service and database experience a plus.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday 9-5 with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
