Thriving Beyond Burnout
Periods of intense workloads, uncertainty and workplace conflict can all collide into a culture of low performance and low morale. As individuals, if these periods become extended for too long, one may experience emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion. This is burnout.
In our 2-hour session, we will explore the components and symptoms of burnout, then strategize how to overcome prolonged stress and burnout and find a path back to productivity and balance. Our objectives will be:
- Identify the impact of extended work stress and burnout
- Explore healthy and unhealthy ways to regulate the emotional impact
- Strategize to overcome the impact of burnout through everyday self-care, new work habits and more
Participants should come with a notebook, journal, or other writing tool to capture personal reflections and actions. This is to be a reflective, interactive session, where they will be creating action plans to take back to work and life!
