Visit our office to check out our online database of over 2,000,000 grants!CNE provides free public access to the Foundation Center's online database of grantmakers along with other resources including free funding research guidance to all visitors. Access to the database is Tuesdays-Thursdays 9am-5pm on a first come-first served basis. Reservations are required. Please see the calendar and reservation form below for availability.
Visit us to access free resources:
- Foundation Center's online directory which provides detailed information on grantmakers and how to apply for grants
- Hard copy version of the directory
- Proposal writing guides
- A staff member who can provide assistance to first time users or suggest additional resources
In addition to open hours for research, training sessions on utilizing Foundation Center are hosted by CNE once a quarter. Check our current training schedule for details on the next session.

FOUNDATION CENTER APPOINTMENT REQUEST
First time users and those requesting assistance should select a time on a Tuesday if possible.
If you are new but cannot visit on a Tuesday, please call or email our Cooperating Collection Supervisor
Christina Giaimo to book your initial session.
Please view available times on the below calendar and fill out the request form indicating your preference of time. You will recieve an email confirmation from us confirming your appointed request. Please allow 48 hours for confirmation. If you are requesting an appointment sooner than 48 hours, please call our office to schedule your session at 434-244-3330.
