Mission Statement: We believe the ability to read, write, and communicate is critical to adults to fully realize their potential as individuals, parents, and citizens. Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle, a non-profit organization, offers free, individualized literacy instruction to adults in our community who have limited reading and writing or limited English language skills.
