New CNE Strategic Finance Training Series – This Fall

It’s no secret that achieving financial health in the nonprofit sector is a constant challenge. In a recent Nonprofit Finance Fund national survey, 85% of the nonprofits who participated reported increased demand for services in 2011, and yet 57% indicated they have 3 months or less cash-on-hand; Eighty seven percent don’t expect their financial outlook to improve in 2012. The economic pressure is real. Add to this the changing funding landscape, including decreased government funding, and it’s no surprise that executive and board leaders struggle with creating business models that promote mission impact and financial sustainability.
