Member Spotlight: Love INC (In the Name of Christ)
Love INC mobilizes people in our local churches to help people in need. This past year, we coordinated 650 families with meals and food and 302 families with furniture. We have assisted thousands of people in need with clothing, holiday gifts, personal care items, assisted with locating rent and utilities, prayer, appliances, household items, transportation, automobile donations and repair, toys, yard work, housecleaning, budget counseling, coordinating school supply drives, home repair, coordinating over 500 "Loads of Love" at the Belmont Baptist Laundromat, moving, visitation, painting, and numerous other services. As long as the request is "doable, safe and we have a volunteer, there's not a request (a "gap" need in the community) that we won't tackle.
