Member Spotlight: Children, Youth and Family Services
Every year, Children, Youth and Family Services supports over 5,000 children and families facing poverty, limited education and family crisis in the Charlottesville area . As a result, children served by CYFS are: • Ready to Succeed in School: CYFS provides quality early learning experiences that help children learn more effectively and meet developmental milestones on schedule. • Safe, Healthy and Nurtured: CYFS provides counseling and education services to promote healthy interactions, reduce parental stress and help manage family crisis. With a 92 year history of providing the community with quality services and strong outcomes, CYFS is able to achieve our mission: Opening Doors to Bright Futures for Kids.
