Position Description
Lafayette School & Treatment Center (LSTC) is a small, non-profit, private special education school and treatment center in Charlottesville. We serve students from: Albemarle, Charlottesville, Greene, Hanover, Nelson, Powhatan, Rockbridge, & Staunton cities/counties. We are in the process of reforming our Board of Directors. We are looking for 8-10 individuals with a passion for education & non-profits/ We are hoping to find members from the: clinical, legal, financial, & fund raising communities to help our school grow and continue to proper. Attendance at monthly, evening Board of Directors meetings is required.

Our former Board of Directors was small due to the belief that Board and School needed to be able to make decisions quickly and move on them. We need a more functional Board of Directors than that of 4 members, which was in place until recently. We want/need people from other professional disciplines to facilitate the direction that the current Executive Directors see Lafayette moving.
