Position Description
BOARD MEMBER: OUTREACH COORDINATOR
This member will join a dynamic and dedicated Board, and will advise other Board Members on community outreach. He or she will coordinate a team of healing arts volunteers to execute Common Ground's outreach plan for 2012, and will interface with other local nonprofits to identify community need and create new offerings. This outreach plan includes community yoga classes, chair massage clinics, stress reduction workshops, and other similar programs, several of which are already underway in the community. Experience in community outreach in the Charlottesville area required, interest in the healing arts a plus.

Skills Required
Excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, ability to work both independently and as a team, good follow-through, and experience in local outreach work.
